The Special Edition in the AL series in the beautiful China Red. Equipped as standard with a gold-plated steel nib. Optionally available with 14ct gold nib or 14ct BiColor gold nib.
The Kaweco AL Sport is a really tough pen. Traditional design was consequently combined with modern materials. The Kaweco AL Sport is being produced of massive aluminium using CNC machines. Each item is finally being polished and refined with different surfaces. Despite of aluminium it has a solid weight and sympathetic surface feeling.
The requirements on the AL Sport are high. Small, however big enough for comfortable writing. Robust but not too heavy. By modern CNC technique and the use of high-quality aluminium today it is possible to realise the AL Sport.

Already in 1905 Kaweco manufactured the first writing instruments made of metal. Which was produced with silver or gold plated brass in the past, is today manufactured from the lighter aluminium material.
Kaweco AL Sport Night Edition fountain pen
The fountain pen of the AL Sport Night Edition is equipped with a carbon black nib. The steel nib is manufactured by Bock in Heidelberg. Coated is the steel nib with the «Diamond-like Carbon» coating. The five nib sizes from EF (Extra Fine) to BB (Extra wide) are available. The fountain pen works with standard ink cartridges. For Kaweco fountain pens, we recommend Kaweco ink, but it also fits other manufacturers’ ink cartridges, such as Pelikan.
The entire Kaweco AL Sport Night Series is exclusively available at mostwanted35. The Night series is completely black in accordance with most wanted design specifications. For this, the aluminum CNC parts were lasered before the surface was coated. The writing instruments are anodized and are therefore better protected against scratches. The Kaweco sport tin box in black is included.
The Kaweco Sport is now more than a hundred years old. In 1911 Kaweco launched the first sports model on the market.
